What is CYC-BYA

CYC-BYA is a diverse and multi-cultural group of young people who live in the Bayview-Hunters Point District and committed to making an impact in their community and San Francisco by working together to advocate for peace and positive changes.

What We Do

    • Advocate against violence through a multi cultural approach

    • Outreach & inform schools and organizations on community issues to advocate for change

    • Community service & events

    • Political advocacy for resources and change

    • Leadership development

    • Workshops, trainings & focus groups

    • Collaborate with CBO’s, businesses and merchants and city’s departments

 

How YOU Can Get Involved

To qualify for the program:

 • Be 14-18 years old

 • Live in the Bayview-Hunters Point or San Bruno Avenue neighborhoods or Attend any one of the high schools in the areas

 • Enrolled in any high school in San Francisco
