CYC (Community Youth Center) is an enormously diverse High School Dragon Boat Team, consisting of a variety of high school students from around the Bay Area. The CYC High School Dragon Boat Team was founded in the year of 2001. Ever since the year 2001, our team has struggled and worked hard for the past seven years to prove we are capable of becoming the number one High School Dragon Boat Team in California. In the 2007 Kaiser Permanente 12th Annual San Francisco International Dragon Boat Festival, CYC reached its goal for the first time in seven years of becoming the number one High School Dragon Boat Team in California.

CYC’s adult dragon boat team has once again risen to the challenge for the second year with team ARMS OF FURY! And this year, CYC is proud to have members from its sponsors – the Lifemark Group and the California Transplant Donor Network – join its team. Dedicated during the weekdays to empowering and strengthening high-need Asian youth and their families by providing for comprehensive youth development through education, employment training, advocacy, and other supportive services, can this team of arthritic weekend wannabe warriors cross the finish line (or even finish a race) as a top contender? You’ll know when you FEEL OUR FURY!
