Stronger families mean stronger kids and stronger kids mean a stronger community. With that in mind, we’ve devoted this section of our website to our parents, and all the programs and services we offer to our youth and their families.

CYC Parenting Skills Program

CYC conducts city-wide parent counseling and empowerment training programs for Chinese immigrant parents on a weekly basis. Workshops and support groups enable parents to:

• Understand their children's needs
• Know their parental rights
• Share individual experiences
• Improve family relationships
• Discuss strategies/solutions
• Utilize community resources
