2018 Turkey Giveaway
CYC’s “Season of Giving” began today with a turkey giveaway to over 100 Bayview residents, families and organizations at CYC’s Bayview Branch Office. The project was part of CYC’s Bayview Youth Advocates program’s goal to create a sense of community pride, peace and understanding in the Bayview community.
Turkeys were generously donated by the San Francisco Police Department and the Bay Area Deputy Sheriffs’ Charitable Foundation.
Our thanks to Assemblymember David Chiu for joining representatives of the SFPD and BADSCF, CYC Board Chair Jaynry Mak, CYC Executive Director Sarah Wan, and Bayview Branch Office Program Director Michael Wong to distribute the turkeys.
