Salary $24-$27/Hour plus excellent benefits

Status Full Time; Non-Exempt


Under the supervision of the Admin & H.R. Manager, the Admin and HR Coordinator is responsible for the oversight and day-to-day operations of general office operations and support H.R. administration. Duties include HR recruitment and on-boarding, benefits administration, employee relations, records management and handling administrative operations.


Human Resources Coordination

  • Handle talent acquisition, including posting and updating job postings, and directing applicants and inquiries to hiring managers. Position will also conduct reference checks and assist with H.R. onboarding.
  • Assist with benefits administration including open enrollment.
  • Provide HR related troubleshooting and ADP trainings as necessary.
  • Coordinate employee trainings and required health-related certifications to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain H.R. and personnel files, consultant records, and agency files both physical and electronic.
  • Assist in processing unemployment claims, accident and workers compensation claims, and incident reporting.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Respond to employees regarding general HR inquiries.
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

Administrative Operations

  • Oversee office operations including maintenance of multiple office sites, handle office and equipment concerns, and trouble shoot office operations issues.
  • Provide reception support in answering the telephone, conducting general intake, distributing mail, photocopying, typing, faxing, and filing.
  • Maintain general office areas: updating signage, organizing and maintaining stocks of supplies & forms, copying and distributing documents to staff, tidying up general office work areas, etc.
  • Greet visitors and program participants, handling front desk duties, and support office maintenance.
  • Assist in organizing special events/programs for staff and agency.
  • Provide administrative and H.R. support to other staff as requested.
  • Position is in-person, five days per week, Monday through Friday. May need to travel and support different worksites as needed.


  • BA degree plus 2 years of experience providing administrative or H.R. operations support.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in interacting with people in a positive and courteous manner.
  • Good knowledge of Google Drive and Microsoft Office Applications, such as MS Word and Excel.
  • Good organization skills with a results-oriented focus, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Good level of personal organization, attention to detail and follow through with a strong ability to stay calm in high-energy environments.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and diplomacy.
  • Must be dependable and have ability to multitask and prioritize work while also being flexible to support staff needs.
  • Possess professional demeanor, integrity, good judgment, and good interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is required.
  • Able to lift or move at least 25lbs.
  • Commitment to taking regular Covid-19 health tests as required by program health and safety guidelines and/or current health directives.
  • Ability to complete Covid-19 vaccination requirement unless the individual qualifies for an exemption due to a disability or religious reason. (Exemptions must be approved by H.R.)
