A new home for CYC in the Excelsior
We have a new home in the Excelsior.
CYC is now sharing space with Excelsior Works at 5000 Mission Street, continuing our work with young people and families in the Excelsior and surrounding neighborhoods.
The new office will be home to CYC Service Hub activities, including community seminars, bus tours, the Adopt-A-Senior Building Intergenerational Exchange, and tablet classes. The Intergenerational Exchange and tablet classes are led by youth in CYC Youth for Community Engagement program, creating opportunities for young people and older adults to connect, share experiences, and learn from one another.
CYC Young Adult WorkLink will also be based at the new office, where young adults can access employment services and guidance as they take their next steps toward work and career goals.
Together, these programs give youth, families, and older adults a neighborhood location to connect with resources, build skills, and take part in activities that bring generations together.
