
Wendy Lee
Wendy Lee is a San Francisco native and a dedicated nonprofit leader with more than a decade of experience in youth development, fundraising, and community engagement. As a mother of three, she is passionate about supporting children and youth. Her particular experiences as a parent inspire her daily to create uniquely meaningful opportunities that activate youth potential, and ensure all youth can thrive.
As the Director of Development and Communications at CYC, Wendy is responsible for ensuring thriving relationships with all CYC external advocates, funders, and partners. She holds a Master’s in Nonprofit Administration from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Asian American Studies from UC Santa Barbara. Her studies, and her work, combine strategic expertise with a heartfelt commitment to making a real and meaningful difference.
Wendy’s skills include fundraising, volunteer coordination, and advancing equity for underserved communities. Beyond her professional role, she’s an enthusiastic baker, known for her signature brown butter cookies, which reflect her creativity and attention to detail. She’s deeply committed to making a difference in San Francisco, one youth—and one cookie—at a time.
