Participate in this year’s Lunar New Year art contest. The Lunar New Year marks a time of change and possibility, and invites you to think about new beginnings. A fresh start can include things we’re excited about — also things that can feel difficult or challenging. What does a fresh start mean to you?

SF K-12 students can submit their artwork to this website, it can be any medium on 8.5×11 inch paper. The submission deadline is February 28th.

First place: $500 Visa Gift Card. Second place: $300 Visa Gift Card. Third place: $200 Visa Gift Card.

There will also be a Finalists Exhibition at Chinese New Year Festival & Parade on Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8 at Grant between California and Broadway.
