Each summer, we offer programs for elementary, middle, and high school-aged youth. We’ll keep this page current as applications, dates, and other information become available for 2026.

Elementary School Programs 2025
For elementary school students, CYC offered a 6-week, full-day program with weekly field trips and hands-on academic activities involving literacy, nature and ecology, math games, and STEAM.

Middle School Programs 2025
For middle school students, CYC offered two summer programs open to all youth.
- Willie “Woo Woo” Wong Clubhouse program: Our Chinatown program offered an 8-week summer program—with access to academic support and enrichment classes focused on STEAM, literacy, physical exercise, and project based learning.
- Aptos Beacon Center program: The CYC Aptos Beacon Center offered a 6-week summer program that encouraged skill building, project based learning, social development and community building.

High School Programs 2025
For high school students, CYC offered 6-week programs over the summer for rising 9th graders to rising 12th graders.
- Balboa Project and SFI Programs: These comprehensive programs encouraged skill-building, project based learning, social development, and community building. Youth were given opportunities to select a combination of academic and enrichment classes such as Writing, College Readiness & Exploration, STEAM, Health & Fitness, and art making.
- CYC College & Career Access Summer Program: This program was designed for AAPI high school students seeking comprehensive insights into college and careers, equipping students with the necessary tools for success in the college search and application process, with a focus on personal statements, financial aid, and scholarships.
