Annie Tong
Annie has been with Community Youth Center (CYC) for 16 years and currently serves as Program Manager for education and workforce development programs. She oversees programs for newcomer youth aged 14-24, facilitates job readiness workshops, and provides essential resources to support youth and families. She also manages the Powerwash Mobile Team and organizes cultural events in Chinatown, including the Lunar New Year Parade and seasonal festivals on Waverly Place.
Drawing from her own experiences as an immigrant youth, Annie is passionate about creating a safe space for young people and preparing them for college and the workforce. She loves seeing youth graduate, and pursue their personal, unique pathways to success.
Annie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Arts from San Francisco State University and certifications in First Aid/CPR and Career Services.
