Welcoming a bountiful harvest in the Richmond

We celebrated the full moon this past Saturday at the Richmond Autumn Moon Festival. The sun provided a beautiful backdrop as attendees strolled Clement Street checking out different booths and cultural performances. We enjoyed seeing the creativity from local vendors who sold homemade goods – jewelry, greeting cards, stickers, candy, and plants. We also appreciate the community-based organizations who educated attendees about programs and resources available to the public. A festival would not be complete without cultural performances. Attendees enjoyed lion dancing, kung fu, folk dance, and calligraphy. We look forward to celebrating the autumn moon next year.
