Team Members

Hiu Nam has been with Community Youth Center (CYC) since 2006 and currently serves as IT Director. She ensures the efficient operation of CYC technology systems, enabling more resources to support youth and families.

Starting as a Family/Youth Counselor in the Parent Youth Empowerment program, she later became an IT Specialist/Clubhouse Coordinator. Her passion for technology and experience as an immigrant drive her commitment to supporting youth leadership and potential, particularly in overcoming language barriers and stereotypes.

Hiu Nam holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from UC Davis. She finds fulfillment in supporting staff and enhancing programs that foster youth growth and opportunity and is an invaluable member of the CYC management team.
