Your next step starts here: CYC Fall Youth Job Fair
The first conversation with an employer can help a young person understand an industry, discover a career path, or take a step toward their first job.
This October, CYC is bringing those conversations to Stonestown Galleria at the Fall Youth Job Fair. Local businesses and organizations are invited to meet young people ages 16 to 25, share insight into their work, and introduce them to current and future opportunities.
At the Spring Youth Job Fair, more than 350 young people connected with 25 employers. This fall, we’re creating another opportunity for employers and young people to meet face-to-face and build connections that can continue beyond the event.
CYC will help participants prepare for those conversations. Young people will have access to resume and LinkedIn guidance, mock interviews, professional clothing, and headshots before meeting with employers.
For employers, the Youth Job Fair is a chance to meet young people from across San Francisco and give them a closer look at where their interests and skills can lead. A conversation today can introduce someone to a field they had not considered or create a connection to a future opportunity.
