Deepening impact and connection in the Excelsior
Like many other neighborhoods throughout San Francisco, the API community in Excelsior is quite large, comprising 41% of the total population. Many of these API families are low-income, first-generation immigrants who face daily cultural, linguistic, and practical challenges.
CYC is thrilled to announce the opening of the Excelsior Community Service Center, providing linguistically and culturally attuned support to this community, including access to:
- Translation services
- Transportation information
- Technology classes
- Housing referrals
- Medi-Cal assistance
- CalFresh assistance
The Excelsior Community Service Center is located at 35 San Juan Avenue, SF, CA 94112, and will operate from Monday to Friday, between 10 am and 6 pm.
