Annual Reports

MODELING AND CELEBRATING:

Positivity • Youthfulness
 Community • Inclusiveness • Hope

This past year has given us many reasons to smile, to cheer, and to renew our commitment to the diverse youth of San Francisco. We’ve expanded our Multi-racial Advocacy and Justice work, brought important attention to youth mental health challenges during the COVID era, and we’ve been optimistic and foresightful—breaking ground at the new Richmond Community Hub and excitedly looking forward to opening our doors for this new facility in 2023.

Our many champions across the city and across generations help us stay youthful. I thank you for your heartfelt support and encourage you to explore this year’s annual report to see how together we are making a difference.

Warmly,

Sarah Ching-Ting Wan
Executive Director

Shaking off two years of sheltering in place due to COVID-19, this past year we were able to safely resume all our usual in-person services and community events, which were all the more positive and youthful after our time spent apart.

Our youth led the way with creativity and resolve, stepping into new roles, advocating for support and understanding, and giving back to the community in neighborhoods throughout San Francisco.

Our new Richmond Community Hub builds on the diverse partnerships and community ties that CYC has built throughout the Avenues over many years and will provide vital services to families, youth, and seniors in the Richmond.
