Connecting youth and employers this fall
Finding your first job or a seasonal role can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. Join us on Wednesday, October 15, from 1–5pm at Stonestown Mall (2nd floor) to meet employers who are ready to hire and explore tools that will set you up for success. It’s a great opportunity for young people to connect directly with hiring businesses, and for employers to meet motivated candidates eager to work.
Alongside employers ready to meet you, we’ll have free stations to help you put your best foot forward:
- Resume support: Get feedback and tips to make your resume stand out.
- LinkedIn profile help: Build or strengthen your online presence with one-on-one guidance.
- Mock interviews: Practice answering questions and sharpen your skills in a supportive setting.
- Professional clothing giveaway: Pick out free clothing to wear to interviews and on the job.
- Headshot station: Take a professional photo you can use for LinkedIn and job applications.
The CYC Job Fair is a chance to explore possibilities and leave with resources that can make a difference in your job search. Employers will also benefit by meeting job-ready candidates in person.
