Wellness Check with Chu Fong Eng
We did a wellness check with Chu Fong Eng who was senselessly stabbed on Market Street in early May. Ms. Eng recovered from surgery In early May, Chu Fong Eng was senselessly stabbed on Market Street while waiting for the bus. Ms. Eng survived the attack but required surgery for the injuries she sustained. Our Coalition for Community Safety and Justice outreach team paid a wellness visit to Ms. Eng and are happy to report that Ms. Eng is recovering well. Ms. Eng is receiving In-Home Support Services seven days a week thanks to donations to the Victims and Survivors Fund.
