Job Readiness for English Language Learners (JRELL)

JRELL provides youth, ages 14-18, who are primarily immigrant English Language Learners with a workforce program that focuses on removing barriers to employment through a skills building curriculum and workplace experience to ensure they are ready and prepared to succeed in school, work and life. Program participants receive 40 hours of job readiness training/career exploration workshops and later placed at a work site that matches youth’s interests for over 80 hours of work experience.

If you are:

  • High School, Transitional Age
  • San Francisco Resident
  • Attends High School in SFUSD
  • English Second Language (ESL) or English Language Learner (ELL)
  • Eligible to work in the United States (necessary documents: Social Security Card and U.S. Passport or Green Card
